The fun never ends! As our INDOOR season at Hendersons comes to an end, we’re excited to bring the weekly market back OUTDOORS on May 19th to Sorauren Park at 50 Wabash Avenue in Roncesvalles. We’ll be rocking it in the park each Monday now until the end of October!
Arepas! Sancocho! The soft launch of Sorauren Farmers’ Market’s CULTURAL BOUNTY DAYS initiative celebrated Venezuelean cuisine this past Monday. Highlighting underrepresented foodways and cultural traditions, the project will officially launch in 2025 and was made possible thanks to the Carrot Cache.

Check out the herb and native pollinator bed we put in next to the pizza oven in Sorauren Park. Just like our farmers, we love putting our hands into the earth! Special thanks to our outstanding volunteers and Project Swallowtail. Watch us grow!

This year we will be partnering with Community Fridges Toronto, Sistering and the Bike Brigade. Please consider purchasing some fresh produce from our farmers and leaving this at our Gratitude/Donation table near the info desk.
We are grateful for the support of our community partners. Thanks to Friends of Sorauren Park, Chander Chaddah, Rogers Ranch, Kessler Zakkai, Bizjak Farms and the Carrot Cache.
Our mission
The Sorauren Farmers’ Market Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering community connections and offering fresh, wholesome food since 2008. We believe that people thrive when they feel safe, connected, and supported beyond their basic needs.
Through diverse opportunities, we provide a platform for various interests, voices, and offerings within our community. We actively encourage dialogue and relationships around ecological preservation and aim to benefit sustainable farmers, including those facing land access challenges, as well as local food producers, artists, musicians, and volunteers. Advancing food security for all is central to our mission.
